Clutch problems

So I recently finished a motor swap and installed a new clutch and I'm having problems with the clutch. The problem is when I push the clutch pedal down there isn't much resistance to begin with and I can change gears with the stick with out pushing the pedal down and I'm not sure what to do about it. Is there a way to bleed the lines?

Re: Clutch problems

A little more information would go a long way toward figuring out what's going on...what clutch and transmission? What did you use for the hydraulics? What year car, and did the car originally come with a manual, or is the car swapped?

Re: Clutch problems

Did you install the throw-out bearing correctly? That is a common issue

Re: Clutch problems

The car is a 1985 trans am and it came with the t5 from factory. The clutch is just a stock replacement from summit. Would I be able to check the throw out bearing with out taking the transmission off? Thanks for the replies I appreciate it!
