Is this even fixable
Alright so this is what happened i shifted into 5th gear and all the sudden the car spins and does a 360 into the ditch. I NEED to know if its fixable the subframe and the part where the hood and side panels bolt onto are fine. Oil pan isn't smashed the engine is still good.

Agree with what 82tarecaro said.
They also totaled edpontiac91 Formula 350 and IT TOO didn't LOOK that bad......but that's a different story.
Fix her up!

Re: Is this even fixable
After many months of not having the car i got her back and the passenger side took most if not all the damage. Basically what it did was crinkle it but it doesn't look that bad honestly.

Get it to a frame specialist and get an estimate. From where I'm standing, it looks like all the structural members in the front clip are wasted. They can probably pull them and cover up the damage with body panels, but it'd take some serious effort to bring that back to before the accident.

I don't think $2000 would even get you close to fixing this car. Maybe get you started. It can be fixed it just depends on what its worth to you. You could spend 5k plus atleast and I'm figuring even more. That would buy you a decent Z28 without a salvage title.

The frame damage on the passenger side is pretty serious and it looks like the driver side behind the fender is also bent in 2 or 3 places. Where the rail bolts to the bumper looks like its bent too. I agree that this will EASILY cost $5000, possibly much more

Yea but ill spend whatever it costs to fix it this car has a lot of sentimental value 5k isnt that much. The body shop does free estimates so im good there just comes down to the actual cost.

it must be very sentimental? i can understand that in a way i suppose. but 5k could get you a very nice car, just saying.

When a car has a lot of history and special meaning to the owner, no amount of work or money is too much. I understand completely. My Camaro is like a time machine bringing me back to the greatest times in my life. Priceless.
I remember once here we had a guy literally cutting his car in half and welding on an entire donor section...he got the job done and you have to admire that kind of determination to see a job through.
The fact that they can straighten your frame out is a great sign. Everything after that is just replacing parts.
Never let your baby go.
