My 1991 Firebird. Work in progress, my dream car. Got 2 years ago when i was 17. Oct 2009. I live in Monroe and im usually in Loganville or Lawrenceville. Go to college in Macon currently.
I'm not a member of the S.E. club, but I was looking last fall for a local TA club around and couldn't find one. Where could I find information on this club?
Hey guys, Lets see if we can help a fellow member out. He is selling his 89 TA with quite a few new parts. Anyone looking for a bolt-in 9" Ford or a nice roller check this out.
I have a 91 Firebird that i will be taking all the way down at the end of summer im going to replace the vortec head with edelbrock heads new cam and a turbo new brakes are also in the picture they will be from a c5 Corvette and a repaint and new sound system
here is mine
cant gett pic in here but its in my album
1 1992 black/tan firebird t-top and a v8
2 1992 yellow/black trans-am 'vert {needs lots of help...um work..}
Im thinking of getting rid of my draglites and getting some 18 or 20 Irocs.
Wouldn't go any bigger than 18's. The ride is rougher, and they're a lot heavier than stock. Going from a drag lite to a chromed 18 is going to be a lotta unsprung weight. I like the look though. Just wish someone would make a set with a little dish and a 9.5-10.5" width

Yeah, I was thinking 20's were too big. You could have your wheels widened.
hey all. wanted to update everyone on our most recent acquisition. :-)
had that 92 RS camaro, and figured i would see what else was out there.
found this car on craigslist, might explain alot...LOL
anyways. here's what i know:
1987 Trans am GTA.
350 v8 TPI (tuned port for noobz)
4 speed auto trans, with shift kit.
hard top
Digital gauge cluster.
fresh-er paint, not sure if its exact factory shade or not.
Leather interior (probably custom colors).
runs drives pretty good.
here's some pics, and a youtube video link (Video still uploading at the time of this post).
I'm located in Indian Trail, NC, which is about 20 minutes south of charlotte.
Check out charlotte muscle, we got some really cool rides and could always use more 3rd gen love!
getting there... Still a lot of work to do... Engine, tranny, interior, electrical all need to be installed. Trying to get this done before memorial day to lead my son's JROTC unit in the local parade.
Finished paint tonight... No pics yet... Ground effects go back on tomorrow.
My third project third gen, but first complete tear down. Lot of work.... But soooo rewarding!
[QUOTE=Jschoepf;6117330]She's currently a work in progress but we're getting there. Going from a 305 4bbl to a 6.0L LQ4 is gonna be a night and day difference I think
NICE! I've been wanting to source an LQ4 for my vert, but sticking with the 355 for now due to budgetary concerns ;-)
