Hi, I'm new here and recently purchased an 88' Iroc with the 350 TPI. Not sure if this is in the right section but would like to start a thread to document my build. My dad and I plan to completely disassemble the car and build it up. Once we finish I plan to have a nice first car but I can only drive in the late spring to early fall were I'm at! I've always wanted one of these cars so I can make the sacrifice. I've started gathering parts already for my build and my latest piece was a complete new dash panel. Here's some pics of the car. ( It was red and repainted white by the previous owner)
That's a very nice looking ride! I too had the problem of only getting to drive my '85 for a few months out of the year. My solution was to buy a 4x4 and just baby the Z!
Car looks good - if it were me I would enjoy it for the season before you start taking it apart. Get to know the car a little bit & take your time collecting parts.

Yea I'll probably end up getting a different vehicle to drive all year and take care of the Iroc!

Thanks! I started gathering parts already, I plan on taking my time and fixing everything right. As with any project this has little problems here and there. Trust me I love the car so I'll enjoy it as much as I can!
Hey this car is still going to be completely fixed up by my dad and myself but I currently bought a 91 Z28 with G92 and I couldn't remember my login to the old account so I will have to keep this updated and add some more pics of what we've done.
