Hey y'all, my name is Joe and I have a 1985 Pontiac Trans Am. I'm fairly certain that the previous owner might have been a crack fiend because the wiring in this car had been fairly butchered, at least from what I could see. I know there was an aftermarket alarm system in the car, and while cleaning up the engine bay, there was something that struck me as odd. I don't know if it's some sort of egr piece or not, it looks like a really bulky microphone. If you could tell me what it does and if it's important I would really appreciate it. Thanks,
Joe

that is a rotary siren for a very "old skool" car alarm
