HP and torque thoughts on a 350 swap
I bought a used 350 from a friend of my dads who pulled it from his 73' Nova. I replaced the stock cast heads with 64 cc aluminum heads with .550 springs screw in studs and 1.5 roller rockers. The block still has stock crank but I installed a com cam Magnum .525/.525 cam. The block is also bored .60 over. Fueled by a 650 holley double pump with 750 bowls, jets and metering plates through a weiland high rise single plane aluminum intake.
So my question is what do y'all think the power out put is. I'm hoping to double HP from the factory 305 in my 85 z28.
P.s.
After 2.5 years I have lost compression in cylinder 1 so building a 406 with all the top end parts as mentioned above instead of rebuilding.

There are so many variables on how it will workout nobody could say for sure. You should easily reach your power goals if the previous owner didn't make any stupid hardware choices.

Re: HP and torque thoughts on a 350 swap
As stated above, so many variables. Whats the compression ratio?
If all the parts are matched to work together, I'd say maybe 350-375 hp. But its so hard to tell. I just built a 383 that ended up dynoing 453hp and 480tq. I honestly was hoping for 500hp and I spent a bunch of money too. However I know it will be a reliable engine built with good parts. (You can check out my build)
Now after some time and being happy with the results, I am on to the next issue. What to do about the transmission. Which is more money.... prob 2-3k more... HP=$$$$

You didn't mention exhaust. Hopefully you have decent headers.
Or carb. What are you running for a carb?
You could probably get 450 HP out of that engine on an engine dyno. With the restrictions of being installed in a 3rd gen, you're probably below 400. Torque is probably in the 350 ft-lb range.
Between the Magnum cam and single plane intake manifold, you'll have a "peaky" engine, with not much low end. Might make a lot of peak HP, but won't drive very nice.

Are there any headers that will work with his angle plug heads?
