IMO hard to price these odd ball RARE seats

Let me help: The last pair I sold here on TGO was a perfectly good pass side and the drivers side had a couple small tears in the bottom bottom....... Price was $175 + shipping. I sold them at a fair price to help another member out; That's what this site is for. ( And why I was hoping you'd trade the switch for a manual seat track last year. )
You could have traded the switch with me for the manual track,... sold the power track to t/aws61985, and still had a pair of buckets with manual tracks to sell - everybody wins.
DUDE; you MUST know that $300 with an untested track is kinda' steep. (power and ground - REAL easy to test ) Recovering a pair of buckets will cost $bout' $500; Honestly; Who is going to throw over $1K (finished) on those 2 bucket seats; and still might need to buy another seat track ? Just being up-front with you Bro. @ $300/untested they are probably going to stay in your storage for a LONG time.

Adjustable leg bolster. Not many made for the firebirds very rare to see. His asking price is not out of this world. These are not as desired as the recaros or pmd seats but they never come up for sale. They where the top option in the camaros.
Also getting seats recovered to factory spec with Factory material will cost a lot of money. ALOT. $1000 easy. Non oem material will drop the price significantly. You get what you pay for. I really have about $5,000 in the my Recaro seats project and I'm not even done yet.
If the foam is in good condition you could literally buy for about $500 a new seat cover kit. To be completely honest if I made the money I used to. These would be in my basement right now and Hawks would have an order for a new black Camaro Camaro Camaro interior.
it's funny that they're worth money. i had an 84 z-28 with the orange "camaro camaro camaro" seats, and door panels back in 88. they were comfortable but i, nor anyone really considered them desirable, lol. never knew what i had i guess? also had an 84 trans am that had what looked just like these seats. i need to start keeping my eye out for stuff like this.

I've got 2 of these LSC Camaro drivers seats and another pair of buckets from a Trans AM sitting in my spare room.
Desperate; I don't think so, just looking to complete a NICE set of seats & For the record: The reason I/m looking for a switch is because I GAVE 2 of these exact switches to other members that needed it and couldn't find it on their own,...... leaving my back-up seats without one because I AM willing to help other members.

I didnt mean to insult you with low offers. Realistically I would have offered you a decent chuck for the seat track. I just seen that people where like you should do this, and I was like, I should say that im still interested. As for the dash pockets and eq radios. I usually offer low on them because they made alot of Map pockets so i dont see anything over $20-25 for them (except of the few uber rare exceptions). The eq radios I usually dont like to spend alot on as well due to how the tape decks are usually shot, and several random components are usually just as dead. Which means me in the basement with a multimeter for hours trying to find whats wrong with them. Then hoping that I dont set the thing on fire after I "fix" it. It has happened! I got a plastic tub full of them. About 20 radios in all. Plus some people just want to part stuff out in a hurry to pay for their different projects so they let stuff go on the cheap side. I know I do sometimes.
Talked with some educated people in the hobby and gave it some personal thought............
Tried to tell you that your 'educated people" don't have a clue and explained that at that price a pair of buckets re-covered would be over a G-note. Sorry you didn't understand that - or just didn't like hearing truth.

If I took possession of every part you had, they would be completely lost inside of my collection. The one thing you COULD have helped me out with - you didn't. No worries there - Bro, that's something we do agree on.
