700 shows some restraint I think... I bought mine 5 years ago and I have put on 2000 miles
I bought my 91 B4C T5 6 years ago and put on 14k. Currently at 26,3xx original miles.
I've been told it should be in a climate controlled garage sitting still so that perhaps someday on some absurd time horizon, I could auction it for double what I paid (which is probably a worse investment than simply putting money in the market and foregoing owning the car). Then, once sold for what will most likely be a net loss over that time horizon, somebody else gets to have it. That sounds like a bad deal.
Red 1988 IROC Z Convertible, owned 11 years and a daily driver with 210K miles...even in our Colorado winters. Rebuilt the engine and trans eleven years ago and still no leaks. I am a maintenance horse with all my cars and happy to drive my IROC anywhere in the country.
Drove 1800+ miles round trip out to Iowa and back, getting ready to go on a 1400 mile round trip to AZ in early December 1988 IROC
Puma,
Though my 88 IROC is red I do like that blue color. My daughter will be the recipient of my 88 IROC. Each of my three kids will recieve one of my classics... only thing my daughter wants it blue-I can't change the color on a numbers matching car that is a convertible! Maybe I will just find a blue thirdgen and restore it for her. Keep that car looking great!

Thanks, it's funny because when I was 15 and looking, I orignally wanted a 5.0 GT. But when I went to see a family friend at his body shop he had a 32k mile red '91-'92 RS backed in at the back of the lot around the building that was there to have the front apoiler touched up. Looked the car over and a sleek thirdgen was all of a sudden on the radar, and it HAD to be fire engine red. Few months later, found this blue one and never looked back.
