Are These Factory If So What Years/Models Were They Used On,Every Third Gen Iv'e Seem Had The Flat Type As Pictured.

OK. I wasn't looking at the "style" of the armrest.
I thought you were referring to the curled area at the edge of the arm rest pictured, where it meets the door trim panel.

Exactly, regardless of style its suppose to be flat.Seems to asking one thing, but referring to something else!

89 started the more molded armrest without the grove like earlier models (like op second pic). There is a thread on how to restore Tham back to "Flat"

1988 was the first year for the new arm rests that pulled away from their plastic insides. Check out the repair guide listed in the last post and you'll have like new arm rests.

It must've been. I'm not as knowledgeable of the Firebird line, but I had an '88 many many years ago and I remember having to fix the door handles on my car. I used a two part epoxy to glue it back together. I would've thought the Firebirds would have had them before the Camaro. They appear to get upgrades and changes earlier than the Camaro, but not in this case.
