No more vortec...a few 5.3 questions
I just picked up a nearly complete 5.3, ls1 intake, complete harness for drive by wire, separate 6.0 truck intake and a few spare coils. I plan on using the ls1 intake. i won't be using ac or power steering. Is it possible to make the truck water pump and throttle body work with the ls1 intake? Just ordered an fbody oil pan from eBay-$250 :/ Plan is to go turbo with the truck manifolds flipped forward. Luckily I've got a couple buddies who have a few lsx swaps under their belts to help me out.

Nope. It's easier to get an LS1 car waterpump and use 3/4" waterpump spacers to push it out to the truck accessory location. I got my procomp HV Ls1 water pump on eBay for $50 shipped and the spacers are like $20 on eBay. Get the one with a 1/8"NPT port for your steam vent plumbing.
3 bolt tB is the same as the truck and car. Only difference is the throttle bracket. Doesn't matter if it's cable or electronic, 3 bolt bolts to 3 bolt and same
Goes for 4 bolt.
For whatever it's worth by swapping the truck intake for the Ls1 intake your loosing a good bit of power. Esp below 5200rpms. Truck intake outflows the Ls1 and is about on par with the LS6, but the truck intake will make much more tq and Hp in the idle to 4500 range a lot like a TPI.
