Re: Delco Radios
Just our of curiosity. What does a refurb with aux jack cost? I'm trying to get mine unlocked, and the horn pad working again. So I can't say how well mine performs, but a aux jack would be nice.

Re: Delco Radios
I would like to have an OEM radio for my 1985 IROC, even though it is a radio delete RPO (wife's mandatory requirement to have one). Does anyone know if the 85 IROC came with a cassette player with an equalizer? How much $$$ if there is one available?
Thanks

I have an '82 Z28 with the analog radio display and digital clock. The radio doesn't work well. I'm looking for an '82-87 Camaro radio (green display) that works well. If you have any that look good (show car), let me know what you have and how much. I don't need the AUX jack if it's on the face of the radio.

Re: Delco Radios
The current clock display is green and the radio itself is analog. The text on the radio face is white. I'm looking for the Chevy side of things that have the white text and green display. Thanks

I'm actually quite interested in one of these for my 89 GTA. Is there ports on the back to hook up a subwoofer?

Re: Delco Radios
rarebmx, do you repair these radios? My 89 Formula has the OE UM6 cassette. One channel practically has no volume on the sound and the other just seems low. Then after having it on for a while it typically starts blasting static starting off intermittent and getting worse. The volume **** has no effect on the static but does maintain control of the volume of what your trying to listen to. I've had thoughts of pulling it apart and scoping around inside, schematics would be great though. It could just be a cold solder joint. If fixed adding rear panel aux jack would be great. Any suggestions or is this something you could repair?

Re: Delco Radios
He does fix them and can add an AUX jack for you that I would highly recommend.
He repaired the original from my 91 Z28 and added the jack that I ran through the ashtray - plugged into my phone the music is far better sounding than anything the tuner can pick up!

Re: Delco Radios
My '92 RS came with a cassette with yellow letters and I bought a CD radio off this site for it that is supposedly rebuilt and looks absolutely perfect but it ejects the CD as soon as you put it in. Can you fix it? Maybe add a jack to it also? OR should I just sell it.

Re: Delco Radios
I think my radio is the same as this, can you rebuild for better sound quality add an auxiliary and an rca output?
How do you switch between the auxiliary input and the radio itself?

Re: Delco Radios
Standard Camaro radio with aux $150
Late model Pontiac EQ radio with aux $175 (90-92 cars but will work with all years best to be 85 and up)
85-90 Pontiac EQ radio with Aux $225
84 Pontiac UU6 with Aux $350
90-92 Camaro Yellow letter with aux $325
All radios and have been fully serviced and rebuilt. I can add bluetooth in place of the Aux Jack if you want a wireless option.
Not the best pictures but let me know which one you are interested in and I will send you a video of it powered up playing. Yellow letter radio will be available in a few days. Waiting on parts to be delivered.

Hey Matt,
Just checking in to see if you've looked at the radio I sent you a while ago. You haven't replied to the emails I've sent recently so I'll try here.
Thanks!
Kevin
