You can do own wheels!
Here's the skinny. Bought a set of wheels from Craigslist for $150. While they aren't third gen wheels I guess I just want to prove a point. These wheels are more then 200 EACH new. Rims had a little rash on them and clear coat was beat. Sanded and stripped all clear coat off and bought some quality products from TCP Global. I can list exactly what I bought if anyone is interested. Here's two pics, one after prime, next with metallic paint. The paint used is the paint for the later model GTA. Next step is black accent and clear coat. Any comments are welcome unless you are Scott Moyer and then his opinion isn't worth a squirt of ****. Sorry to rant but if you're opinion differs from his then the thread gets shut off and you get called a child.

What paint did you use? Is it supposed to be the same gold as on the cross-lace GTA wheels?
