Hello all,
I do vinyl wrapping and decal application. However I am not well versed in Firebird history. I have a customer who is looking for a period correct 1985 hood bird. The car is black with red accents from factory and he wants it to match. The last decal that he had interfered with the hood vents and he did not like the look. He told me that Classic Industries had a wode variety of colors and styles but he was unable to find the right one when I met with him. I appreciate any help I can get.
From the HTX,

This is what caused 5he original issue with last decal.
You bet. Good luck!
And then this style with different variations/colors for 1979-1981
This is the bird my customer ended up wanting. Unfortunately he doesn't want to buy it from C.I. and would rather have it printed by a shop here in Houston. However I can't find a proper pdf file for them to use. Any help?

So, he said "period correct" and is going from a '77/8 bird to a '79????
Just an FYI, that bird won't fit that hood, unless he has them shrink it. 3rd gen and 2nd gen hoods are different sizes. It'll overhang.
Exactly my problem. The customer ended up wanting the 78 style but wants it custom printed in order to properly size it. But he doesn't want to spend the money it will cost for the print.
