Notchback not setting right..
I found a neat notchback and one of my customers bought it and traded me for a custom sword.. Anyway i switched all the fittings but the hatch sits high on one side .. I thought the shocks were too strong but after i took them off, it still sat high. Then I took off the bracket and it sat flush.. Or slightly lower actually .. But it seems the area that mounts the bracket is higher than the original one on the factory hatch.
Before i do some welding.. Does anyone make a custom bracket?

Re: Notchback not setting right..
I'm gonna cut the latch bracket itself about a half inch and re weld it .. That should take care of the excess .. Of course everytime I figure out one thing.. Another happens .. Yesterday I had the steering colum pulled and tightened .. And drove it home and as soon as it hit my driveway it stalled, I tried to start it a few times And got a huge backfire.. Causing black to litteraly be imprinted onto my driveway. I am hoping the gas guage is broken and i ran out .. So I'm gonna get a 5 gallon tank and see .. For now she's stuck across my house sad but sexy
