A few pictures of my nest. 32 X 56 with scissor trusses, floor heat and small office/lounge area. We had the structure built and floor done. Then hubby and I finished the inside, insulating and adding panel liner. Took almost a year for us to complete it.

Anyone here with a pic of their car in a smaller garage? Moving to a house with a 16x21 and I'd love to see some pics for reference.

Re: Pics of your Garage set ups for your thirdgens!!!
I think my garage is the same size, this is a pic from last year.
Collecting parts and tools for 15 years.
Garage is packed, so last week I purchased some white shelving. Also fit
a metal shelf and a nice black stackable tool box. Today I bought a metal pegboard
made by Wall Control.com. The key is with a small garage use your wall space for storage.
When I`m done I will post some pics. Also painted walls and used grey epoxy to seal the
floor for easy wipe up. Its was a real mess using the floor for tools. They also make these
bigger for shaving and other stuff.

It does have a loft, which is AWESOME for extra parts, hunting equipment etc.

Re: Pics of your Garage set ups for your thirdgens!!!
I just bought a house with a garage, the garage is split down the middle (was basically an addition to an old garage from the 50s), I have a "motocross" side which is the old garage with my bike, compressor and all MX related tools/gear (and yard equipment), the car side is about 12-14' wide and 30'ish deep with a dog leg that goes behind the original garage, that has my welder, welding table, work bench, automotive tools etc... I have intended to take pics of it, but I'm currently in the middle of a duck boat project so things aren't in their regular places.

My old place only had a single stall and it was tight. Whenever I wanted to work on the car I would have to roll it into the driveway just so I could get the doors open lol!

Nothing special here. My garage is only big enough for about 1.5 cars. But it is climate controlled!

Re: Pics of your Garage set ups for your thirdgens!!!
Someday I’ll fix up this little, old garage... Would be cool to do something with the walls and floors like I see some of you did..
Really I’d like to knock it down and make a 4-car with a lift and a finished upstairs.. Dreams...
Happy to have a garage for now!
And then bedtime...

The last time I posted in this thread was in October of 2015 and I have since upgraded to a 24' x 30' detached garage on its own meter, is fully insulated, and has heat and air. Now I have no excuse not to work on the car because of the weather...
20' x 22' garage
24' x 30' garage

WOW, all of these super nice setups. And now, it's time for some laughs! Here's mine:
At least they are out of the weather, right? We got the enclosed carport on gravel, the "shanty" that's seen better days on gravel and the tent on gravel! Just put up the tent last weekend. I tell you, the "tent" surprised me after surviving 50-60 gusts yesterday. It was a trooper. I do it have it secured quite well though.
Actually, I'm getting ready to tear down the poor wooden shanty this year as it is getting a bit too sketchy for me. It's served me well for about 10 years since I moved here and has been there since '59 with the house. I'm hoping to put up a steel 18x20 on concrete. My county sucks. My garage sq. footage cannot exceed the house and I have a small house. I'm told I can only put back the same size (12x30), So going to shoot for 18x20 which is the same sq. ft. and more useable as a 1-car and small shop. Of course, if I could ever find the right home and property in the next county over, this place is history!
Just recently, they've changed it so that even carports require a permit. I put my 12x21 up before that thankfully!
