Finally! 1986 LB9 Trans Am
My new 1986 Trans Am , LB9/A4, WS6, BW 9-Bolt, T-Top, Grey cloth, uncracked dash and console, overhead console.
I couldn't find the RPO sheet in the console.
Thoughts? Car is solid, bottom end is absolutely spotless.

Re: Finally! 1986 LB9 Trans Am
"The four-wheel disc brake-refined F-body platform equipped with the optional WS6 performance suspension package (16-inch wheels, unidirectional tires, gas shocks, and heavier bars) yields a well-mannered road car that doesn't really know it's not a race car. The Trans Am's steering remains virtually neutral right up to the limit of its .87 grip on the road. It turns in either direction with equal competence and accomplishes the transition without even the slightest hint of distress. It's more forgiving of driving errors and, in terms of driving ability, the average hot rodder will probably feel even more comfortable in the Trans Am than he would in a Corvette."

I was actually able to talk the guy down to $2,700 vs the listed $3,400. Cant wait to drive it! It needs the tank replaced and a new fuel sending unit and probably another pump, why would you put a new pump in a tank full of crap?

2.77. That's OK. Will still corner like on rails. Still fun to drive. Plenty of low end torque in that LB9.
Still a relatively durable 9 bolt? Right? Or not?
And gas prices will only increase over time.

2.77s are great on gas perfect for cruising. You could always swap out to 3.45s. Even the 3.27s would be a upgrade.
