Drivers side quarter panel

So here's is the next part to tackle.. After reading the boards here about this issue I am wondering what caused it... There doesn't appear to be any damage to the bumper that would have caused it to push into the door. The door catches at a few spots and caused the quarter panel edges to roll.. Should I pull that part off and hammer it out or replace it ?

Re: Drivers side quarter panel

Check the pinch weld area where the fender mounts under the car. It's possible that it was improperly jacked up there instead of the actual proper jack point causing the fender to bend and/or shift.

Re: Drivers side quarter panel

Looked under the panel and saw that it is indeed bent up ... I'll bend it down and then see how the fit is ..

Re: Drivers side quarter panel

Replace that fender.

i could be wrong but i'd bet there was a fender/door replacement done and things weren't aligned properly.
