Hood Insulation - Which Side Toward Engine?
I have new hood insulation, with a finished smooth side and an unfinished fuzzy fiberglass side.
Which side goes toward the engine on your car?
Mine has the fuzzy unfinished side down. Does that sound correct?
I know they are cut to fit one way. Just not sure if mine was cut correct side up. The factory original insulation had finished side toward engine.
Hood is steel 1984 Z28 (obviously non-CFI).
Thanks,
Rich

Re: Hood Insulation - Which Side Toward Engine?
Although mine is a 92, the side towards the engine is smooth . . . .

Fuzzy side to hood, smooth side to engine... Keeps fuzzies from falling off into the engine bay.
