July 2016 COTM **Nomination Thread**
This thread is for July 2016 COTM **Nominations** PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE COTM NOMINATION RULES BEFORE PROCEEDING TO NOMINATE A MEMBER’S RIDE FOR COTM.
REMEMBER, WE MUST PROTECT THE INTEGRITY OF THE CONTEST SO THAT THE MOST DESERVING MEMBER WINS.
This thread is a Nomination Thread to nominate cars that will compete for this month's Car of the Month honor. The 10 (or less) most popularly nominated cars will be compiled into a *Voting Thread* in a couple of weeks. If you do not nominate a member's car for COTM, you can still second or third (fourth, fifth, so on) someone else's nomination. Cars must have at least a second nomination in order to make the Voting Thread.
Its summer time, baby! Get those tops down. We're doing CONVERTIBLES.
Any convertible Firebird or Camaro.

- Do not nominate your own car. Your car must be nominated by another TGO Member.
- Do not ask your wife, husband, friends, extended family, etc. to register as TGO Members for the purpose of nominating your car.
- Do not nominate more than one car.
- Do not use multiple member accounts to nominate your own car or to nominate multiple cars.
- This is not a picture thread. Post only one (1) good photo of the car you wish to nominate. Do not use a photo-edited picture.
- You must post a picture with your nomination. This must be a full-sized picture (or at the very least, a pic or thumb that enlarges into a full-sized picture when you click on it).
- Correctly identify the user name of the member who you nominate.
- Correctly identify the year and model/trim of the car you nominate.
- Do not nominate cars that are not in a high quality, finished state.
- And if you are nominated, please DO go out and take an abundance of good quality photos of your ride (multiple angles, interior, engine) and make them publicly accessible (for example via a photo album in your public profile or some sort of hyperlink to your photo album.)
Its summer time, baby! Get those tops down. We're doing CONVERTIBLES.

Re: July 2016 COTM **Nomination Thread**
Every month all of these cars are simply amazing. Every month. Over the years I floated in/out on this site, sometimes long breaks, just went with how involved with my car I was at that period of my life. But in the last few years these cars (3rd gens) have really taken a turn. There are sooo many high caliber cars. Whether stock or modded, there are a lot of owners that are really showing love and pride for their cars.
Had a conversation with Bruce Hawkins at the Trans Am Nationals years ago, he really did see the writing on the wall. 3rd gens were pushed aside over the years by the car community, but now the examples out there have broken the walls down. I always loved the lines of the 3rd gen, even with todays cars. To me, a 3rd gen Camaro is still one of the top 5 convertibles ever made for looks, the lines are just beautiful.
A huge cheers to every single car and owner on this site.

You just throw out a user name, no one really knows who or what you're talking about.

I know, doing little tasks like that with an iPhone can be less than intuitive, and I tend to wait until I get to my desktop. I "copied and pasted" a picture and it ended up posting a link, so then I clicked an the same picture until it was the only thing on my screen and saved the image to my device, and then inserted the image *from* my device.
Anyhoo... here ya go.
Very nice nomination by the way. I might have to second it.

Looks like there are three nice cars that have not received a second nomination. I need to post up the voting thread and i can only second one of these three cars.
VinnyR's '91 looks really nice, but a quick search yields only this thread and one more that has multiple pages where he may or may not have commented, so i dont have time to track this guy down and see what his car is all about.
blacksunshine'91 has a very nice looking TA, but as was indicated, it was just purchaced - so a guy just purchased a clean, stock TA... nothing wrong with that at all, but i'm going to second ChevyKen who I know has worked extensively on his nicely modded Camaro and who I know has some good pictures as well.
