Wheels and TiresNeed help with wheels or tires? Got fitment issues? Have questions about tire performance and handling? Ask all of those questions here!
Kept it "old school" and picked up a new set of American racing's AR23 wheels. 8" rear wheel with 255/60/15 Cooper Cobras and 7" front wheel with 235/60/15. Couldn't be happier. The backspacing brought the rear tires out to the edge of the fender lip where I wanted it, and the wider stance makes it feel more stable, especially in the twisty stuff. Loving this setup so far!
What Spacers and tire size did you go with? Also hoe is it lowered and what springs did you go with? Looks great. I have those wheels but have not put them on yet!

Hi there,
I don't necessarily think they are the best looking wheels, but I just finished my stock 15X7 Rally wheels, and I think they look nice. Better than they previously did.

Before...............................After
They look fantastic. Is your sport coupe a ttop by chance?
Hi there,
Not a T-top, just a hardtop. The car is a stripped-down, bare-bones V6 car, only 4 options on it. But it was all stock, and all there, so I just decided to restore it. Don't see many nice V6 cars anymore.
Those look pretty nice. They remind me of Corvette or 4th gen Camaro wheels.
I appreciate the feedback. I'm looking for honest opinions and whether anyone recognizes them. They are factory pull offs but not Chevrolet or even domestic for that matter. I really like the look and stance but don't want it to be obvious where they come from.
18 x 8.5 front with 245/40
18 x 9.5 rear with 265/40
There is room for more tire at both ends. I think a 255/40 285/40 combo would be perfect. These are the tires I got with the wheels.
I'm wondering if anyone gets it. Actually, they are replicas of M5 wheels. I thought they looked different than anything I had seen on a Camaro. I like the "5 spoke" styling on Camaros and the cross lace on Birds. These sort of mimic the IROC spokes in a unique way and add a bit of lip or dish. My fear is that some will only see the BMW style. Although I think the Camaro body and taller tires disguise them well.
I still think a taller, wider tire is in order to complete the look.
I have to say Im very particular about rims on cars especially my Camaros but I tell you, that is one fine IROC, awesome color, and some awesome rims and tires!!!......Hows the TPI setup on those IROC's

Reason: ask bout motor
You can never go wrong with American Racing wheels. Thats an awesome ride. Love the car inside and out. Keeping it real (American Racing) is always the way to go...awesome wheels
18s?
Not sure if it's the angle or if it would look better with larger wheels in the rear?
What mods would be required to make these fit?
Yes 18s. Maybe it is the angle. Next size up would be 20s. I think someone on here put 20s on their camaro and it looks great. My setup only needed a 1.25" spacer up front.
