LOW Mile (50K or less) Third Gens - post yours!

Re: LOW Mile (50K or less) Third Gens - post yours!
Well guys I lied... car didn't have 8800 miles.
Had 8357 lol.
Original tires, she's been drained and flushed but no fuel pressure. Assuming bad pump from sitting.
The Powerwagon is sweet too!

Wow, what a great find! Hope you gave that old lady a big hug and a kiss! Careful with the new TA if its been just sitting. You may want to pull the gas tank or at least siphon some gas from it. If its corroded, you don't want to run that thru your injectors.

That's a super, once in a lifetime find. Since she has been in storage for so long, expect some little gremlins. Dont travel too far from home for a while. On my Firebird, so far, I had to change the alternator and all the belts and all the hoses. Once they start to run again, little things will show up. Best of luck to you. Looking forward to the ongoing story of the "Phoenix".
I am amazed at how there are so many low mileage Firebirds and Camaros out there.

What is the black canister with the line going to the front of the car. Is this an inline fuel pump?

Wow! Love the car and the truck! As a kid I had a neighbor with a red powerwagon. These two vehicles you bought are two I dreamed about as a kid. Great find.

I bought everything but the brand new Hellcat she had. I guess the first guy bought her Hemi Coronet . Didn't ask how much she got out of it, didn't want to know. She threw in her 8-track collection with the Powerwagon though !

There used to be a twin; owner moved a few years ago - only reason I asked... Was a very low mile black with grey cloth '88 LB9 WS6 car with a 5-speed and crank windows. I used to be classed against it all the time at local shows... It didn't have the dealer sticker on the back bumper though... Otherwise pretty much identical...

What a beauty. Best of luck with it.
And, if I might add, nice lawn you have.

It does have WS6 since it's listed on the SPID. Car is kind of a stripper with no power windows, mirrors, locks or the leather appointment group to get the leather wrapped steering wheel, shifter and brake handle but they opted for the slightly upgraded factory radio. Regardless, it is a sharp Trans Am.

A 3.08 rear gear and drum brakes....standard stuff on a T/A with MM5.
10 bolt rear, not a 9 bolt.
Seems rather odd given all of the the 3.45 cars of that era with the 5 speed.
Still a stunning car, what an interior. Don't see many bird interiors that are nice.
