Could you do us a favor and fill this out .It helps us answer some of your questions. This way with just a glance we know what you’re working with. If you don't know just put "stock" and we can help you figure it out.
Simply click on the blue stripe where it says "USER CP" near the top of the page.
then
EDIT YOUR DETAILS
then fill in the last 4 lines at the bottom of the page.

Thanks
Anyway here's what I did with my TBI.
I went with the "Open Air Element" and "Extra Flow" filter top to take advantage of the 2in. Steel Cowl hood I put on.
Nothing "Spectacular" but considering how it looked when I bought it, it looks pretty good.

I'm probably doing more of an extreme version than your'e looking to do but you might like to follow my build thread along.
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/memb...oming-aka.html This is a picture of the latest:
The best way to clean up the engine bay with limited funds is to take your time, do one piece at a time and thoroughly degrease/clean/respray/replace every visible part. Start with the easy stuff like plug wires and radiator hoses. Replace or really clean the fluid reservoirs. The pullies you can remove and respray black. The cast aluminum brackets can be removed and get a quick soda blasting to look brand new. Intake can be sprayed black after cleaning. If the paint in the engine bay is iffy you can buy the same color in rattle can and respray--a few threads on her of guys doing this with good results.

Re: Hey guys! Can i see your guy's sweet engine bays?
By the way, if you're just looking for as many pics as possible you can put 'engine bay site:thirdgen.org' into google images and have as many pics as your heart desires. Won't get you them grouped by car or with the helpful tips though, so there's still value to a thread.

Did you guys get new overflow and reservoir tanks or clean your original ones. Like most engine bays on here, my two tanks have simply gotten dirty looking with age.

Another option that may interest you is using a fourth gen washer and coolant setup. They end up under the battery or in front of the radiator. Sometimes the plastic gets stained and it's a waste of time to clean-that is why I originally removed mine.

Re: Hey guys! Can i see your guy's sweet engine bays?
Thanks Dyno, I was trying to be similar to stock but different. I used 2nd Gen Trans Am adapters with 4 inch flex hose with expandable sleeve over it and ran it out the inner fender. This is only pic I have right now
sorry it is without air cleaner.

Re: Hey guys! Can i see your guy's sweet engine bays?
Found this on my local Craigslist. Is this both a reservoir and overflow tank? Difficult to modify and/or install? Will the current pump I have on my stock reservoir work?
