The Camaro and the Iracing 5 year old Australian super car has about the same shift points and lap times.
I use paddle shifting only on the sim.
The Laguna Seca track on Iracing felt just like the real track.
Even saw some of my real track reference points, painted lines and telephone poles.
Down the front straight over the blind hill, keep it full throttle and aim at the telephone poles far ahead on the right.
Nice hotrod Rockwall!

I posted this in the for sale section but maybe it needs to be in here as well. I wish I had the money to devote to this...it would be an awesome project and a cool car to just have in a finished state. Not to mention, what a hell of a deal for all the stuff you get.

Virtually everything on this car is made one off... The suspision is all built from scratch.. Including the coilover internals front and rear upper camber plates as well as the adoptable ride height strut to spindle mounts . Lower control arms are custom made with a stretched width to add a few inches on each side pushing the total width of the front track over all 6 inches wider than stock... Using a 4th gen rear and matching suspension in the rear with 1.25 spacers to match the front width. I'm running 295 30 18 r888 front and rear and I love them... As for sway bars I'm using the hotchkis big bar up front and an iroc rear bar. Splitter, spoiler, blown diffuser and hood Louvers also made from scratch

Morrow, great work on all your mods. We have all been looking for GOOD, WORKING examples of splitters and diffusers, and front suspension mods that would allow us to run wider tires up front and also give us add adjustability. It looks like you have developed some very marketable products for the 3rd gen community. If the quality is good and they are priced reasonably you could sell quite a few of your creations.

Thanks Dave . . . Currently I am building the hood lovers and wicket bill spoilers to sell.. The diffuser is still being tested but I am will to build and sell them.. As for the splitter.. That all depends on how many people are willing to spring for one, 1000 a peice with turnbuckles and upper weld in mounts... Each one is 32x68 inches 100%carbon fiber hollow core.. I'm not sure how well it would mount up to the 80's body graphics though due to it being molded to the 92

More of an Autocross car but I'll contribute to an ancient thread.
Austin's Red Camaro was my inspiration for going racing in my 92.
I'll be ditching the 245 street tires for some 315s on all 4 corners spoon

Re: Road race thirdgen!! Pics wanted
That's cool. This car raced through Canada and into NY as well. It's sporting a 350 TPI with a modern Holley HP computer and upgraded electronics and other things. I'm plotting suspension and other upgrades but struggling with departing from its original racing heritage
