Re: T-RAM OWNERS
There are a couple parts used on the Hawks T-ram fuel rails that are billet and the hard lines hook into them. SLP used a cheaper fuel line/attachment setup for the over the counter stuff. I'm guessing it was to cut cost and labor.

Re: T-RAM OWNERS
Life has been a huge distraction to my 3rd gen love, but tonight I picked up some rare time to just cruise the net without the wife or kids influence. I was shocked to find that Ed Hamburger sold SLP to Roush. I was also surprised by the history of Ryan Falconer Racing engines / engineering. It now makes sense. Back in the late late 90's told me Falconer developed the T-Ram and made the molds for SLP. I always wondered what the connections was, now I get it.
I cant believe Hamburger sold off SLP to Roush though. Expect SLP to be dead to GM consumers know.

Re: T-RAM OWNERS
Here's my TTTR mockup
I have been thinking, the T ram with the end covers is exceptionally well suited for a sandwiched water air cooler setup there, in between the top manifold and the covers. Some longer bolts, intercooler pump and heat exchanger and done. Super short turbo to manifold sections, a Y setup with a big bloww off in the middle. I'm going to see if I can get some suitable cores and weld up the sandwich pieces
On my turbo setup I have to slightly modify the downpipes and drill a big hole in both sides of the crossmember with a hole on the bottom to clear and access the wastegate adjustment. Not a problem. I'll build new downpipes also, they are super easy to fab so no issue there. Ihis setup was originally on my 82 corvette

That is sooooooo cool, very jelly of that!
Has that T-ram been sand/bead blasted at all?
And I just noticed the adapter for the 6speed w the 4/5speed bellhousing.. B-zar

No but I did clean it a little.
The whole trans is a retrofit T56, came with the adapter plate, the slide collar for the throwout and a rear with cable drive for speedo. Bellhousing is a T5 unit
Probably going to strip the paint off the valvecovers to return them to their natural as cast finish so it matches the intake. I'd hate to paint the intake black....although it might look good.

I know ttop350 likes the untouched t-ram and I was really torn on blasting mine but after trying to clean it some of the corrosion was deep. I did mask all the machined surfaces and was contemplating painting mine a cast color as well. I'm hoping to get off my butt in the next few months and get gaskets made . Bring on any progress pics twin-turbo !

Re: T-RAM OWNERS
After searching and trying to talk others out of their T-Rams, I've finally joined the club. Getting delivered later today is Greg Williams' Formula 350 Blackhawk project car. A 1990 Formula 350 that had the SLP catalog thrown at it back in the late 80's/early 90's when the original owner was unable to order a Firehawk. Tony, (T-Top350 here) has provided me with the one missing piece - the dual feed, cold air intake! Thanks Tony! Tony has also loaned me a few of the more difficult pieces to find, the belt guard and the charcoal canister bracket that I hope to get duplicated/reproduced - if all goes well we may move on to the throttle bracket and possibly the cruise control assembly.
Here are a few pics of the car - I'm very excited!

Not billet, they are cast in to the upper plenum. Injector length is critical with this intake.

Re: T-RAM OWNERS
I found some pictures on my wife's old laptop recently that show how much work I put in to the repaint of my 87 IROC. I took the car apart and got the minor body work ready for paint. I asked for 5 layers of clear because I planned on color sanding to get the finish mirror flat.
This is what it looked like coming home.

Re: T-RAM OWNERS
The sheet metal portion of the cruise control bracket is the easiest part to make. The aluminum cable cams are the part of the bracket that will be the most difficult and expensive. The contraption is nothing more than an afterthought and looks that way as well. I had to bend mine so it would clear the power steering / AC or later model alternator belt drive brackets.

Re: T-RAM OWNERS
We have the pattern laid out (and 2made) for the sheetmetal parts. I finally found a place to do the aluminum cam for it. Instead of machined cast aluminum, it will be billet. As soon as the shop finishes that, we will have 2 "ready to use" for sale.
As normal, I'm behind on my projects

Re: T-RAM OWNERS
Its very simple. It hangs on the back top side of the pass front bumper support, may have a screw through it to the support.
Then the canister sits on the brackets lip and is hose clamped to that.

Re: T-RAM OWNERS
I'm lucky enough to have a really good friend who owns a metal fabrication company and saw him again this weekend. He's scanned the parts in and printed out cardboard templates to check fitment, made a few adjustments and should be stamping them out this week.
They won't be a lot - this is not a profit motivated endeavor, more of a courtesy to those with incomplete setups. It would take a volume of these to make them worthwhile. The good news is they will be saved in his computer and if needed we can press out more in the future.
They'll be powder coated semi black when done.

Would need to double check but IIRC
On the firehawks it was ziptie mounted to the main wire harness and the egr solenoid bracket was mounted to the single boss on the AC suitcase with a 7mm headed screw

Parts are made - 3 of each are available. $25 plus $7.00 shipping for the belt guard and $45 plus $14.00 shipping for the canister relocation bracket.
(Shipping are the flat rate USPS prices rounded to the nearest dollar - save $7.00 on shipping if you want both.)

I'm fairly sure its a 1204 size but the gaskets I have seen with the nos t-rams are all black and made by victor.
