Thanks! I got it installed a few months back and love it, it works great for my space so I have just enough room to safely sneak in another car on the left side and now have room again in the front to work on stuff. My original plan was to get two four-post lifts but with the footprint I would have lost that spot on the left.
Re: Pics of your Garage set ups for your thirdgens!!!
we constructed this about a year ago its about 400sq/ft which is the max the town would allow. lifts sports cars all the way to the top with the door open, everything else needs the door closed to get all the way to the top.
Re: Pics of your Garage set ups for your thirdgens!!!
Heres my garage setup! I have the IROC-Z Banner from the display at GM Nationals on the wall, and a couple of vintage original third ten dealership posters on the wall. I have the 91 Z28 poster and the 88 IROC poster. The original 88 poster even shows the IROC with the 15" Z28 wheels before they came out with the 15" IROC wheel in 89. I have a bunch of other camaro stuff up, and all my awards and dash plaques on the walls.

Good golly...thats certainly a custom stripe job...strip that thing down and start from scratch...should only have the lower stripes, and door decals, etc...not to mention no IROC ever came with a high rise spoiler... it should look like this...

The spoiler is of a 92 i knew that was not right . BUt i an trying to see if a dealer special ordered a few of these car like this . or did a dealer put the strip kit on a hand full of cars. making it special the strips are custom made for these cars . this is not paint it is a decal. and the car is in original paint so not striping it.

Hahahaha!!! Thanks kymmee! I used to work at a beer distributor part time, and I got a bunch of beer cardboard cut outs, not to mention the free beer glasses too, I have so many... and if you look closely, I even had my goalie mask painted to match the car hahaha

I have never seen another one like that, so no, not a dealer special order at all. Just eraser wheel the decals off and move on...very odd scheme there...
Re: Pics of your Garage set ups for your thirdgens!!!
Just found these - pic of my garage in 1995 (first house I built) - 68 Ram Air GTO & 72 WW5 455HO/M22 GTO inside, 70 RA III Trans Am & 70 4spd Formula. (Some of you guys probably weren't alive then! LOL)
Re: Pics of your Garage set ups for your thirdgens!!!
Very nice PMD, I had a buddy in High School that had a bright green GTO about the same year as your green one there, forget what year it was. It was sweet, not sure if it was stock color, but I loved the color. it was very similar to my Maui Blue Formula, the sheen of it, but in Green. Loved it!

Finally going to have a home for my thirdgen that has been in storage for years. Oversized double tandem (2 cars across, 2 cars deep) attached garage should hold at least 4 cars.

Re: Pics of your Garage set ups for your thirdgens!!!
I'll call you in a few weeks! Don't be too concerned, there's 12" of crushed gravel in there - it's dry storage!
Problem was we started building it in the winter and as soon as I could - I put everything in there - there were parts in the attic before the roof was on! In a few weeks I'm pulling everything out and over the course of a weekend, get the vapor barrier, insulation, wire mesh and pex down and then pour it on Monday or Tuesday. While it's drying out & curing, I'll get some rolling scaffolding in there and get the metal ceiling up while it's empty and hopefully get a lithium densifier/sealer on it. By the following weekend, I should be able to get the cars back in there.

Whew! I can sleep comfortably tonight. That will be an awesome toy box. Post more pics with the cars in the finished room ( no covers). Show off the colors!
Re: Pics of your Garage set ups for your thirdgens!!!
VERY cool neon sign Tony, I've got the letters from one which will eventually go over the service bay door. This other sign I drove by for years, happened to be going by the day it was getting replaced!
Re: Pics of your Garage set ups for your thirdgens!!!
Haha
It isn't from IL but I do have a bunch of things from Mr Hubers personal collection.
Picked this and the 50s sign up in Alabama! I made a rocket run down and back in 1 day to get it!!!
I thought the sign would be waaay to bright but it really isn't, nice gentle warm glow over everything in the garage.
