Cast Or Steel Crank-advice

I WANT TO MAKE 500 HP on my engine. I am looking on using a weiand 177 blower and running about 8 pounds of boost. I Plan to use a PAW vstell crank, PAW forge rods and and forge pistons. This the set I plant to have. Please advice

GM 355 (.030 Over) 2 bolt main with STEEL CRANK with "BEEFIER CON ROD"
I have heard that 2 bolt main is fine for this application??

Trick Flow Twisted Wedge Aluminum Heads (62 cc)
CHANGE SPRINGS, HAVE 3 WAY VALVE JOB

Forged Dish Piston with Molly Rings (about 8.0:1)

GM ZZ3 Hyd. Roller Camshaft ( 208 Intake, 221 Exhaust, and 112 Lobe separation)
Crane Roller Rocker Arms (1.6 Ratio)
Is the 1.6 ratio adversely affect the system??

Edelbrock TES Headers with a 3 inch collector, Flow master Cross Flow Muffler

Jet Performance Re-calibrated Q-jet.

Mallory CD Hyfire VI Box, with Mallory Comp 9000 Vacuum Advance Unilite Distributor and Coil.

Stock Pump, water system,

T-56 Borg Wagner Transmission, and GM STOCK 12 Botl Rear end

I think 500hp is a lot for a 2-bolt, it may or may not hold but I think it depends a lot on how high you'll be turning the motor. Motors die more often because of too much RPM then of power...

I got an Eagle 4130 crank and the main caps to convert a 2 bolt to a 4 bolt shipped for $449 from a guy. If you want to talk to him, let me know.

Steel crank or at least a Scat 9000 Series cast/steel crank. The Scats are rated to about 600 HP !

PAW uses Forged TRW pistons if u want to have 500 horses i wouldnt touch anything from PAW, go with Eagle Forged Rods and Weisco Pistons much better in reliability.

whats wrong w/forged trw's? got many sets running around in customer cars-not to mention my 400, which i hate to say, has endured my nitrous stage for years now,and the pistons are still alive. now as the blower tries to injure them in this go around i say that they are doing fine there too. what kind of problems have you experienced? quality machine work is key for forged piston setups as well as hand setting up end gaps. the problem w/pasw is parts are frequently "seconds" as in a gram spread among 8 pistons in a given set from them is hideously large and even scarier is any part that they have machined,or magged or anything that required skill at doing a particular operation on should be approached with a critical eye. just my take on the subject. although several other people i know have had similar experiences in dealing with them.

well im using them and so far im not having any problems, but i've heard that their skirts tend to crack. Just giving him a little pass along in case he has any questions about them. Im using them cause im only running about 400 w/ Nitrous. Although if i could i would of gotten the Weisco. plus their sort of heavy if thats an issue then other Forged alluminum pistons
