Yep,a good shop that treats ya right will throw the bottle in the freezer for an hour then fill it,but if I'm in a hurry and can't wait for them to freeze ,I just buy a bag of ice and throw on the bottle while I'm on my way to get it filled. You can't get a warm bottle completle full.

when i fill bottles at outlaw performance http://outlawperformance.com/ if they are not chilled or cold i have to stop the filling process partway through because the bottle heats up from the pumping process and the pressure gets to high for safe filling. i let the bottle temperature stabilize for an hour or so and start again. not good for a customer that is waiting, but some people drop them off at lunch time and pick them up after work. P.S. this heat generated from pumping and the cooling that the bottle gets when you are running the juice out of it are the principles of air conditioners.
