surviving 200 shot
I want to shoot 200 shot of nitrous and what would I run. I would run 150 most of the time but that extra 50 is for that extra 4 tenths if I need it
My engine
15k on 355 4 bolt main 80 to 85 block
Cast crank 15k on
5.7 rods shot peen I rods 15k on them didn't get shot peen yet
Wish list
Forged 9.7 to 1 CR pistons
Gasket match my 113 heads 1204 or 1205
Comp cam 264 113H
MSD box for TPI
Stud the block
what head gasket
what spark plugs.
I will run a wet kit.

Re: surviving 200 shot
Can it be done on a plate system for TPI? It will have a 255lph FP and should I move junk the 24 lb LT1 injectors? I have a 700r4 built to handle 500hp and a 9 bolt 327 that needs a rebuild. It would be getting sprayed on some weekends but mainly take 150 shot.

Re: surviving 200 shot
It will take it. A wet kit is fine with 24 lb injectors as they have their own fuel line.
Forget the plate kit and go nozzle. The old NOS plate is very outdated, even though that's what I ran for a long time.
Setup well with a mild 350TPI like you listed above should net you some mid 11s in the 1/4 if it is all working together

Re: surviving 200 shot
Lol I was just lookin at your GM performance article it popped up on my face book. Even though its old. But I would love fogger kit but that will blow my budget. Wish I had the money to go super charger. I have like the slowest car out of my friends and I just want to cheat my car on motor now runs 13 to 13. 3s. My frame is tied and all the good stuff

Yeag, gmhtp just put it back up on tgeir fb!
Add a single shark nozzle. They are cheap
If you're running that fast 150 will put you in the mid 11s.
Run your fuel off of the rail, jet it to 150 and lower your timing a few degrees and you'll be very happy. Also put a window swutch on it so it doesn't come on until 3000 rpm or so.
I love nitrous :-D

Why is a fogger better than plate (single fogger)

Re: surviving 200 shot
They way the shark nozzle mixes the fuel and nitrous together is much better than the TPI plate. PLUS the TPI plate is so close to your intake the rear cylinders usually get more than the front causing distribution problems...
Like 83 Crossfire TA said, you can run well over 200 HP with no issues with a single nozzle!

Re: surviving 200 shot
Everybody's hatin' on the old NOS plate. If you have one, use it. I haven't had an issue with it yet. Might not be the best, but it works. Using the new NOS jet ratings I am shooting a 180 shot (73n-38f). I have jets for 210 (82-N and 250 shots (93N) just haven't gotten back to the track yet to try them out.
I would run with what you have on the 150 shot with racetronix walbro fuel pump with hot wire kit and the msd box pulling timing.
You will have other issues to deal with in the meantime (namely transmission if you are running a stock 700r4).
