Using a MSD BTM with Nitrous

Hello and thanks in advance for the help. I am installing a 125 shot of nitrous to my 87 Trans Am. It used to be a TPI set up, but I swapped it out for a 355 carb'ed motor. My question is can I use my MSD Boost timing control that I have for this set up? Its an MSD 5462 BTM. I bought it a few months back thinking I was gonna have the extra cash to do a twin turbo set up, but the extra cash thing didn't pan out. I still wanted to do something with my motor that was a little more affordable so I went the Nitrous route. The 5462 has the boost reference and I wasn't sure if I could still use it with the Nitrous set up. Is that something I can still use? or will I have to ebay it and get me a different BTM?

Don't forget the pics. Hey are you in the market for a coil? I have a MSD "street fire" coil $25 shipped and a stock coil $20 shipped.

Re: Using a MSD BTM with Nitrous

I am currently using an HEI dizzy with a 65,000 volt supercoil. I may replace that sometime next year with MSD 85551 dizzy and I would need the coil then, but I just cant afford to pick one of them up this year so gonna have to pass on the coil. Great deal on it though and thanks for asking. Hopefully I can sell this BTM and throw it towards getting the one I need. Just ordered my new NOS 10lb bottle and down tube from summit. Now I am just lacking the hose and the correct BTM.
