The nitrous express kit is a couple hundred more but if its better, ill just get that one instead. Any one have any personal experience with either kit?
Ive got a 454tb will the plates clear it, or will I have to open them up with a grinder?

Honestly, for the price of the NX kit I"d rather buy one of their 4150 kits, then get an adapter plate/carb intake like a Performer RPM with different fuel jets. You'd make more power on motor, probably make more power on nitrous and pay about the same $ if you got a used intake.

Im running the edelbrock performer rpm with an adapter plate to a 454TB.
Ill look into running a carb plate though.

I'd think you'd be bucks ahead and it's likely that the distribution of the carb plate would better anyways. There is an NX carb kit that's actually ~630. That's a huge premium to pay for a TBI plate especially if you can run the carb setup.

Ive never done nitrous and dont want to blow stuff up, got to make sure I get all the right pieces to make it work safely.
I guess ill just see where I can find the best price on a NX or NOS carb plate kit and add a fuel pressure safety switch and window switch.
Anyone have any tuning recommendations as far as my EBL flash goes?
Any other tips or suggestions?

I read up on the EBL, pretty slick stuff!
Nitrous express has got 15% off and free shipping this weekend, so I picked up there 30040-10 kit for a carb. When it gets here ill figure out what jets and such ill need with my different fuel pressure.
"Website orders use code "blackfri12" to claim 15% discount.
Website orders use code "blkfri12fs" to claim free shipping on orders over $400.
Offer Valid 11/21/12-11/26/12"
For anyone thinking of some nitrous, looks like a good time to buy.

Re: Nitrous kit for 350tbi
Id definately go 4150 and use a carb intake and adapter, better flowing intake and better distribution with that plate like Drac said kill 2 birds with one stone. As far as the 454 TB you can use the edelbrock tbi intake and a spacer hand ported cone style, bottom matches intake and top matches 454 tb hood clearence with a stock hood will be an issue tho.

Yeh I ordered a 4150 kit, already am running a performer rpm carb intake with a 1/4in adapter going to my 454TBI set up, been working great for me, just want a lil more power
Its already super close to the hood, hopefully I can get it to all clear.
