powder coating turbo compressor housing
What are peoples thoughts on this subject? I've read that it'll hold heat in the compressor housing due to not letting the aluminum dissipate the heat which does make sene, at least as a possibility. Other's don't seem to have any concerns over it... what do you all think?

Re: powder coating turbo compressor housing
it will be fine
i would just polish the housing though i think it looks better then powder coat
krylon makes some nice spray paint as well
i start with rustoleum metalic as a base coat (tpi runners are sprayed with this)
then i go over it with this
turbo before
and after
pictures dont do this paint combination justice they are highly metalic in the sunlight
these were chrome valve covers i sprayed witht he metalic and then the blue ,runners are just the metalic and the plenum is a combo of both
and heres my engine block done with the same
they make in a few dif colors
