Don't have one, but definitely one of my fav third gens by a good margin. Probably one of the last great BOP engined RWD cars before everything went 100% corporate.

TTA1078, Jan has been a big inspiration for me and to the TTA comunity. He has helped us in so many ways, with parts info and other advice!
Here are some pics of TTA984.

TA49 turbo with adj. wastegate with about 20lbs of boost, 60lb motron injectors that are match flowed with a Turbotweak Alky chip. Adj fuel pressure regulator along with a intank Walbro 340 fuel pump that is hot wired, plus Alky Injecton from Alkycontrol.com from Razor.

That is just awesome, those GTA rims are polished so nicely! Kicking myself that I sold my GTA rims to a Grand National buff in favor for my TT2's. Most members here don't realize just how fast these TTA's will run with that TA49 turbo, at 20-psi your probably running 11's without even breaking a sweat. That is one nice TTA! Do you have any information about the prototypes? Are they still around, or is someone harboring them in a garage somewhere...?

A man named Rich in Atlanta, Georgia area has the black emissions car and the flame red car as well as one of the convertibles. I have not seen them but a friend of mine saw them and said they were awesome.
By the way, my TTA was sold new in Trenton NJ and spend most of its life in Tennessee before I brought it to Florida.
The TTAs are a blast to drive, so much fun spooling the turbo up.

I only have two pictures of the red one. Someone had mentioned they seen both cars over in Englishtown Raceway Park a very long time ago when GM brought them down to see how they would do, and the way he told his story was just awesome. He had no idea what he was looking at initially, he brought down his '79 Trans Am and seen the Black one which was an '88 GTA with 305-TPI that GM converted to that prototype, and he said that the car was before him at the staging lanes. He said he remembered watching that thing go down the track from behind, and all he seen was the heatwaves from the track being pushed aside as it ran mid elevens, which apparently was extremely fast back then. He had me laughing, but it was an awesome story though. Here are the pics that I have of Flame...

Saw this beauty at the Pontiac Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH August 3-5. Enjoy! Any idea how to find out which number this one is?

One of the guys I race with, actually lives right around the corner from me. I believe it runs high 10s in Mod Stock/Pro.
