Re: D1sc upsetting garbage
well last night I got a new gates belt, instead of a gatorback, tightened the crap outta the belt and had the blower pulled back towards the strut brace keeping it from flexing towards the front of the car, took it for a spin and actually made 8 lbs of boost!! first gear is basically useless even with 3.50 gears. mt street radials sure don't work like there drag slicks....i'm sure my boost guage was reading right before on the dyno being 4-5 lbs of boost. this bracket is so flimsy its terrible. i notice on most of your thirdgen kits you have a bracket that goes to the back of the alternator, mine doesn't have the spacers behind the pro charger unit to allow that bracket to be used, I also have standard length charger pullys, not the longer shanked ones i'm seeing in the new kits. we did make out own support to go to the block above the power steering, it helps but with the insane tension you need to build boost the thing is still too flimsy.

Re: D1sc upsetting garbage
I did also find one small boost leak. in my D1sc head unit where all the bolts hold the impeller case on mine had to be clocked, in doing this one hole cant have a bolt in the unit in the position we need it. Its blowing air steady out of there.... Hot air to boot.. the air inlet right above the header on the driver side is a terrible design in my opinion. anyone switched theres up a bit to get cold air coming into the charger? i;m sure my IAT's are 200 F real sweet for making power. i'm wrapping my headers today to try to keep some of the heat out of my engine compartment.
