How many horses can I expect with this simple mod?

Hey guys just wondering what my gains could be, roughly. I want to create a tunnel with a scoop below the car similar to the airdam and direct it to the air filter. By doing this is there a noticeable difference? Also Im going to be removing my smog setup. Thanks for the input in advance!

TPI car? its been shown that properly designed ram air type setups like you describe CAN pick up power. For LS1 cars like my 99 TA, they sell kits that are proven to give 1-2 mph at the track. Thats a good bit of power.

On the dyno you dont see it since the air speeds are not high and no pressure can develop in the intake system. A TPI car should pick up some power at speed. 5-10 COULD happen

Oops i forgot to say I have a 305 TPI duh! haha but that sounds good to me.
Also since im removing my smog setup I wanted to try and make it take in cold outside air and put it through this tunnel ram idea along with the air thats already being forced into my throttle body. I know it doesnt generate a ton of pressure but what if I was to change the pulley? . Would this work as a small type of supercharger or at least poer adder? I feel like there should be a modification that would work, hmmmm

A smog pump doesn't move nearly enough air to supercharge anything.

This is true buit what If I went to the extent of messing witht he internals? Its the same concept its pushing oxygen into the exhaust. This seems possible and I dont mean huge gains with this but if done right I feel like it could get upwards of 20 hp with a little boost

There is nothing that can be done to a smog pump to make it a supercharger.
