supercharger identification

hey guys. i just got a supercharger but i can't tell what kind it is. the guy i got it from says it's a 144. it's a b&m supercharger. i got an intake manifold for it, but it doesn't fit. is there any way to tell the difference between a b&m 142 and a 144?

Re: supercharger identification

Are you sure it's a B&M? I'm pretty sure Holley (Weiand) picked up the old B&M design and there about the same now. A picture might help.
