More head, more cam, and I would have started with T70's instead of T60's...thats if I stuck with a sbc...a bbc would hae taken me alot longer to build tho. I had alot of sbc stuff I could reuse so I did to save money. Should have sold the heads for atleast 210's but would have tried either 220-230 sized stuff and moved closer to 6300-6400 rpm peak to have abit more operating range.
But this is my attitude to all my motors...after building the 383 to hit mid 11's on motor, which is what i originally wanted, i thought to myself...man i should have bought the 210 cc heads and gone abit bigger on the cam or even solid roller....but I was on more of a budget at that time.

Re: who's the fastest turbo car on the forum ??
I probably would have tried T76's if twins and master power.. garrett's GT4202's are nice too at about 75mm...but my buddy has T70's on his 496 that turns 6000 rpm and makes 809whp on 10psi and a very conservative tune... So 70's could work depending on how much power you want, but may consider the q-trim turbine side tho since big blocks flow a ton of air.
Twin 76's on a decent sized big block is 1200+ hp on 15-18psi

Oh yeah, i remember his build, sick. I need a transbrake and a 12bolt or 9in. Then i can try and get into the 9's. I dont this 10bolt will handle a boosted launch.

I have an ArtCarr 700r4. I cant get any boost even if i try. It will start pushing through the brakes before it builds any boost. The car doesnt have too much lag tho, so it still 60fts pretty good.
