Re: What supercharger would fit?

As far as I know the only super charger that comes in a kit which is a direct fit for our cars is the ATI Prochargers. Their kits are designed for 1988-1992 TPI engines. You can use any supercharger you want but some fabrication of custom hardware may/probably will be required.

There are a couple people on here running the universal SBC bracket on there third gens, I think it requires an adapter. You could get the SBC kit from procharger that is designed for carb setups and go from there. It won't be a directly bolt on affair though.

Re: What supercharger would fit?

Procharger doesn't make a supercharger bracket for an 87, it's only available for the 88+ serpentine system, not the 87 serpentine alternator/v belt everything else combo.

That doesn't mean however you can't modify it all to work. I did. I also swapped all the pulleys but it could be made to work with the stock serpentine/v groove combo pulleys.

Just buy a carb hat/igloo if you want to go that route or get a pressure referenced carb and a hat.
