Intercooler Y Pipe
I am going to be installing the twin high flow intercooler setup on my camaro soon and I am having trouble finding a good source for a 3" to dual 2.5" Y pipe. Bascially the only thing I can come up with is an Exhaust Y. Does anyone have a good source for an aluminum Y that is meant for intercooling or is this basically my only option. Procharger makes one but it's $80+, since i need two that is over $160 not to mention whatever they charge to ship it, then I have to modify it. I'd like to do it cheaper or at least not have to cut it up once i get it.
Thanks for any idea's!

Go over to James and ask him to make one for you. Should be simple enough for him to weld one up. And it wouldn't be the weirdest job we've taken over there.

More than likely because he got the the twin hi-flow intercooler setup somewhere cheap (seen them go for $300 with piping on eBay before) and they mount under the headlight area so they don't block the airflow into the radiator as bad.

Yea I got the LT1 kit of my buddy in trade. I live in AZ and I want to run the twin setup to keep the front of the radiator clear.
TPI383, Yea I have that also, it's 4" to dual 2.5. Unfortunately that is to large for what I am trying to do. I am looking for basically the smallest Y I can find. I want to split it right as you come out of the fender underneath the car so i just run one 3" pipe through the fender instead of spliting in the engine compartment and having to run two 2.5" pipes through there. I am most likely going to have to have something fabbed up. I will figure it out eventually.

Re: Intercooler Y Pipe
can you use that piece if you use a reducer silicone coupler? Like 4" to 3" right before you run it where you need to?

Re: Intercooler Y Pipe
It's not the size of the inlet, it's the size of the piece itself. Just to large for the area I want to put it.

ok.....got it....hard to know exactly what you are looking at without some pics....
sounds like you'll need someone to fab one up for you.
