those anyone has an idea of what kinda horse power can i get out of 496bbc with like 15 to 20 psi of boost??

Well its not too hard to get 1 hp per cubic inch so you start with 450 hp or so. If I remember right 14 psi will "double" your engine size so that would be in the 900 hp range. So I'd think a conservative number would be in the 750-800 range. This is just a guesstimate.

Personally I would be pissed if I spent over 10 grand building a TT 496 and had any less than 800 HP. I dont even think that 1000 is that drastic. Its going to take a serious driveline to handle that though. Hope you got deep pockets

Depends on how radical the 496 motor is. If it has great heads and a decent sized cam, on 15 psi it could make WELL over 1000 hp. More streetable mild setup on 15 psi 800-1000 hp.
My 401sbc isnt that radical and on 15psi is probably 850hp based on track performance and mustang dyno numbers thru loose converter. More aggressive build would approach 1000hp on motor which is in the 800-850whp range I assume based on losses.
I dont know the block strength of a typical factory block so that may be an issue.
