Singleplane w/Superfueler Questions

I'm considering switching back to Forced Induction. I currently have a Miniram. I have an old Superfueler that i was considering using with the Miniram, but i've read about uneven air distribution with this intake under boost (and N/A) . I was wanting to switch to a Singleplane intake with an elbow for my TPI style TB. Any thoughts on how the Superfueler would work with an elbow? Would i be better off sticking with the Miniram and just tuning for the leanest cylinder? Any comments appreciated.

Re: Singleplane w/Superfueler Questions

For forced induction i'd run a setup that doesnt require extra injectors. Most EFI systems like XFI/BS3/code $59 on factory ecms, etc have boost fueling capability so no need for the fueler.

Depending on your goals, you can get away with the miniram and tune leanest cylinder but may need alot of electronics to discover that port, or at the very least an o2 bung at each primary to find it.

Personally I like the extra injectors at the TB for FI... you get a bit of cooling from the fuel that way

Re: Singleplane w/Superfueler Questions

Still undecided as what to i'm going to do. The motor is coming out in the next couple of weeks. A friend of mine owns www.mtpturbo.com and i'm considering going DFI because he is a dealer for most of the DFI set-ups. Just not sure if i'm going to have the $$$ for it. I don't like the Superfueler idea because of fuel dist. and the additional need to control timing under boost.

As a side note i'm considering this engine combo:

383 (11.0 to 1 now prob. going to 9.75 to 1)
Afr 195 heads
224/240 .559/.596 on 116 (old blower cam i've got laying around)
Miniram or Singleplane

t56
4.10 gears 12 bolt

Any thoughts or comments??
