I'm a bit surprised that you're convinced that you're running out of turbo so soon, people have gone a lot faster with even old school 76mm turbos. I'm considering trying a holset HX52 that has a 68mm inducer that I hope to run faster than that...
i was planning on using the t-70 on the 383 but a member asked me if i wanted to sell it so i did and picked up this precision t-88mm turbo with t4 .96 housing for a very reasonable price so i bought it. Im sure the t70 would have been plenty to go low 10s but this t88 will get me there as well and give me more room to grow

I'm gathering my parts now to do a blow through turbo build and i just read every single post in this thread... wow great stuff i learned a ton and your ride is awesome, nice job. for someone in there early 20's you seem to have a lot of knowledge. I'm 34 and admittedly not very mechanically inclined(but I'm getting there) and my hats off to ya lol very very nice work . cant wait to see some more.

I found a twin setup hotside cheap, I'm thinking about modifying it for a single. It seems much more sensible, what made you go with a single?

Re: Just another blow thru MP-T70 build thread ***NEW PICS ON PAGE 4***

i dont know where i left off but the engine is done and has been for months. I installed the water meth kit, havent gotten to use it.i am building a th350 for it with manual valve body and 4000 stall converter. and spohn xmember with mounted tq arm, also went ahead and installed a new thermostat housing with a rad cap since the thermostat is the highest point of the cooling system and i was never able to put enough liquid in it therefore causing some overwarming issues. lol i also installed the lower radiator bottom piece so it should never go past 200 degrees lets hope. other than that its been sitting at my parents, i need to fix the fuel sender unit cuz its not letting me know how much gas i have left in the tank. Havent done a whole lot since ive been helping my brother out with his '73 formula with a 427 bbc

It's just street car but the th350 is better for racing than a 700r4 and my tranny was acting up I'm getting the 700r4 rebuilt by the same guys if you are interested in it they claim it could handle up to 750 up and that it was my fault i burnt the clutches by not having the tv cable properly adjusted

Re: Just another blow thru MP-T70 build thread ***NEW PICS ON PAGE 4***

It's been cold and the track is still closed do I decided to relocate the transmission oil cooler and put a fan on it on a temPerature switch I also went ahead and got some tubular a-arms and I'm also doing ls1 brake upgrade and my friend bought new wheels for his 4th gen trans am ws6 so I traded him my adjustable tq arm since I replaced it with a dmember mounted one for the th350 and 100 bucks I thinking was a decent wheels they are 17x9?? I'm keeping the 15" with drag radial for the track and the 17" are for the streets

Looks good. get some good drag radials and it will hook. NT05R's on my LS1 car in 315's but I thought they also made a 275. pretty sticky so far.

I ended up just getting some basic tires for those rims I will just take it slow on the streets and at the track I'll just slap the 15s on

Thanks

I just went with "LS1" brakes, they're easy, affordable, and very reliable.

I don't know what the name of the color is but it's from a 2006 Subaru WRX STI.

I've been driving it around a lot and it runs great. It never goes past 180 degrees anymore so I'm happy now!!! the tranny works great ive been just blowing thru the converter like crazy it's no fun. I'm sending it back to TCI and they're restalling it for 150 so that's not bad I just have to take the tranny back out... Oh well
