LT1 MAF power limitation with blower?

I'm in the process of building an LT1 383 stroker set up as follows:

- All forged internals, flat-top pistons
- ported & polished heads with 2.02/1.65 valves
- LT4 hot cam kit with springs, roller rockers, roller lifters
- ported intake manifold
- 58mm throttle body
- oversize MAF sensor
- FCU fuel pressure control
- headers & low-restriction exhaust

I'm aiming for 1000 HP, and I need some advice on the following issues:

1. How much fuel is needed to produce 1000 HP, and what size injectors does this translate to?

2. How much airflow is needed, and what size blower does this translate to, operating at roughly how many psi of boost?

3. Should I use a different cam than the LT4 hot cam, and if so, any recommendations?

4. Can the oversize MAF sensor read that much airflow accurately (with a reflash, of course), or is it necessary to switch to speed density control?

Any feedback will be very much appreciated!

Re: LT1 MAF power limitation with blower?

The maf will max out early then you will have to use the PE tables to tune it. OR just go 2 bar speed density (little trick to to but worth it ive heard) The maf maxes out at 471G which is around 500RWHP.

Try to go with a 114LSA cam, comp makes alot of blower app cams OR they can custom build a cam at the same price as they did my 383lt1 turbo cam for me.
Go on camaroZ28.com and go to the forced induction section you will see how to do 2 bar tunes)

Hope this helps a bit.
