SBC Carbīd with Vortech V2 s-trim? Need help / information
Hey guys,
like said I got a full Vortech V2 S-trim Supercharger Kit for a 1998 3.8 Mustang laying here. I bought it for my daily Mustang 3.8 V6.
But I changed plans for the daily so first I just wanted to get rid of it.. but now it let me think to put it on my 1979 Monte Carlo 5.0 V8.
My Monte Carlo is still with the 5.0 and auto trans. I'm rebuilding the whole car from ground up and put some good & solid suspension and stuff.. anyways what do you think about that idea?
Thats what I have:

...on the pics are not all parts, got another bracket for the headunit, and a FMU and other pipings and stuff.
what do you guys think? what do I need? brackets and pulleys for the sbc? blow-trough carb? where to buy these missing things?
I already emailed vortech about that - they said there's a "base-kit" (vortech part # 3GP218-030SQ) without a headunit for the SBC. But its about $1100..... I need some information what the base-kit includes - what parts in there. I can't find the parts list of the sbc base-kit.
Anybody can help me??
Thx,
-Kev
