finally started the procharger mockup

This is my first mockup for the D-1 on a 455 Buick. Please take a look and let me know if you see any issues. I know its not a chevy but this site has a lot more experience with Prochargers than my Buick friends.

The only things I see wrong are choice of bracket material (haha), and the tensioner positioning. With the tensioner positioned there, you won't have very much range. It needs to be further towards the middle and down.

If you like the plywood check out the PVC spacers I can move the tensioner. This was brought by a few people that have seen the set up. I have the ATI bracket for an LT1 and the upper right side bolt is in the exact position of the ATI bracket. I rotated clockwise about an inch around that bolt because that puts it on the belt with all of the adustment available. I will put it in the exact ATI position and let you look at it.

Here is a side view, could move a little closer to the motor if needed.

Also current belt length is about fify six inches. Need to find if there is a belt close to that lenght.

Thanks for the input.

I am aiming for about 600 hp and 650# of torque. Being real conservative this year. Currently making about 450 hp so it should work.

Just to let everyone know what I am working with:
462 CI 70 Buick
10:1 (I know it is high)CR forged pistons
cam: 235/245 @.5, .500 in .520 ex 113*LSA
Bigs 950HP custom carb
Single plane manifold
Ported heads
Headers 3inch exhaust
Best time so far is 12.42 @109. Goal is consistant 11.5 in street trim.
