Any experience with "1000hp capable" eBay air/water IC?
Can I expect similar results as the thousands of people running the eBay air/air intercoolers? Or is it going to explode, and/or leak water into the engine? Perhaps I should consider spending more money on something to avoid that scenario.
Also, any air/water experiences on street-driven 3rdgens in general? I just keep looking at my engine bay thinking an air/water could be easier to package and allow shorter charge piping. Of course the tradeoff will be having to install a heat exhanger, pump, and reservoir. Being that my Formula is (obviously) a model with no front grille opening, this seems like it could be a good way to go.
