1-2 step colder spark plugs w/blower?
Hi all,
I'm currently getting ready to fire up (well very soon) my 400 with a Edelbrock E-Force supercharger. After doing some searches on what spark plugs people are using for boosted applications, the concensus seems to be to get AC Delco R42TS plugs. I know Edelbrock recommends at least one step colder than stock..
These are 2 steps colder than stock, but when I look them up at the Summit site, it appears they are for 4 or 6 cylinder engines?? I am running Dart Iron Eagle heads, and I just want to be sure these will fit and have the proper reach. I made the mistake of buying the improper reach plugs once before and it ran like crap and the plugs fouled almost instantly, but I stupidly forgot what number they were. Which plugs would you guys recommend? Only planning on 7 pounds of boost max, but I may not even get that until I change to a smaller pulley....
