supercharge or n2o?

Ok so I know supercharging a tbi is a big hassle but if you use a 2 bar map sensor and have chip burning tools i dont see why it wouldnt make big power.N20 is cheeper and less hassle but permanent power seems so much better than temporary. Aside from the obvious getting enough fuel to it whats so bad about boosting a tbi?

Cost. Supercharging anything is certainly not cheap. The price of the blower is only the first installment. Then, you need to see if the fuel system will need to be upgraded.... chip burning, as you have already mentioned....

NO2 is certainly cheaper, but, the blower will give you power whenever you want it..... nitrous will give you power whenever you want it, and the bottle is full.... You could prolly refill the nitrous bottle a crapload of times before it started to get even close to the cost of the blower......

Given the choice, (and the budget.....) I would go for the blower.

Re: supercharge or n2o?

Go blower. If everytime I hit the happy pedal with NO2 i'd be broke as a joke! I hit that happy pedal all the time and want that feeling. I'd go through 4-5 bottles a weekend If i used nitrous. Thats alot of cash just on refills after refills after...refills

Its a 69' chevelle not a 3rg gen.sorry guys.you'd have to have a 5" cowl for this Weiand. A 144 is much lower and with TBI its got more room than the carb gives you.
