Considering LSX swap with Procharger. How can I mount the blower?

Looking at doing an LSX motor with an F1R in my 91. Does anyone know how to mount the blower in a thirdgen? I'm guessing the 4th gen bracket setup isn't ideal. Thanks for any help.

Re: Considering LSX swap with Procharger. How can I mount the blower?

I dont own a supercharger, but I have wrote to Procharger and got info on a few custom jobs I was considering. They make a kit for third gens (P/N 1GC211-SCI) for the Sc1. There are two more, one for the P600B, and one for the D-1 and D-1SC. Im sure you would have to make a custom kit for your application. Not sure if they are close to what you are trying to do. From what Ive heard, they have a good tech dept, and might be able to help.

I dont see the F1R in my catalog, but the F series appears to be a serious head unit. I might be able to get you a link to a Procharger dealer, not local, that could be of some help. Let me know. Hope this helps.

I have heard Prochargers GTO kit might work with an LSX Procharger in a ThirdGen car. Has anyone seen this or actually done it?

even the SBC setup doesnt fit without alot of modification with the f1-r

serious bashing of the wheel well is required.......and it won't fit under the hood either.

if the lsx mount is a low, reverse mount it MIGHT work.....but its still going to take some modification

What about the LS9 engine? It might clear the hood with the supercharger.

I would look at either the LS1 Corvette brackets or the LS1/LS2 GTO brackets.
