Re: 1500hpTT camaro
Very nice find. That thing is sweet. I wonder what kind of engine they were using. It looked like a regular old small block, but further research would be needed.

Car: Used to drive a camaro
Re: 1500hpTT camaro
HOLY MOTHER OF JESUS and a sacred cow ta boot!! That thing is sick. Nelson racing builds some sick...sick engines. Thats an easy way to spend 40k on a car. I bet the drivetrain alone set him back 25k-30k!! I liked the fact someone pointed out that they were curious to see how many times the tranny would stand behind 1500 HP launches

No substitute for cubic money...
Isnt Skulte the one that has the Turbo camaro with those awesome boom tubes on it? THAT is a killer car, and it looks a lot more reasonable price-wise... but still very, very nice. Im more impressed with what people can do on a budget.

Re: 1500hpTT camaro
yeah, I agree. Still interesting to see what happens when there is no budget and a whole shop to work on your car.
I really like seeing projects that have a pretty big budget, but that has almost 100% of the work done by ONE guy. Not a bunch of shops. That is really impressive. Thats how I built my car. I just wish I was as car inteligent then as I am now. But of oh well, live and learn. i will get it all perfect the next time around.

Re: 1500hpTT camaro
Skulte's car is pretty slick. He lives like 20 minutes away from me but I've yet to make it over to see the car in person. Neils car (1000 reply post in the appearance forum) reminds of this. Not as exotic of a drivetrain but the appearance mods out do this car.
