Fuel system NO2 question

I have been looking and searching my so much my head wants to implode, I have got it down to a set up that i think might work for me. I am going to be running a Carbed 383 with a 200 shot.

What i was thinking was- run a big mechanical pump and a regulator for the motor, then running a small cell and an electric pump for the nitrous system. my questions are

Is this a good idea? running one mechanical and on electric?

If so, do i need a reg. for the nitrous too or just the motor?

What would be a good pump to use for both the motor and No2 system?

What reg. should i go with for one or both systems if needed.

Thanks for any help!

that could work just fine, just make sure, reguarless of the pump you get, you get a fuel pressure safety switch and put it as close to the solenoid as possible

If so, do i need a reg. for the nitrous too or just the motor?
yes, the fuel pressure will determine jet sizing , and generaly will be less fuel pressure than the motor runs on.

What would be a good pump to use for both the motor and No2 system?
something that will flow enough for both, probably an Aeromotive eliminator or the Magnafuel Prostar 500 to be on the safe side

What reg. should i go with for one or both systems if needed.
If you plan to street drive it, get a bypass regulator and run the return line back to the fuel tank/cell, that will be easier on the pump and will help fight vapor lock when in stoplight traffic. I recommend Aeromotive stuff for this as well, a 2 port bypass is all you should need.

I would recommend for a 200 shot to run a dedicated fuel system, you can get the 1 gallon RCI fuel cell from jegs/summit for $90 and then get the holley blue pump/regulator kit for $120, then just get the fuel lines to hook them up, you shouldnt need to run return style on the nitrous system, just have the pump turn on when the nitrous system is activated. Hope this helps
